Lionel Richie has admitted he is 'scared to death' that his teenage daughter Sofia, 19, is dating Scott Disick, 34.
The Musician, 68, said he was 'in shock' over his youngest child's choice of 'sex addict' boyfriend.
Speaking while promoting the new series of American Idol on Wednesday, Lionel told US Weekly:
'I'm scared to death, are you kidding me? Have I been in shock?! I'm the dad, come on.'
Sofia and Scott
went public with their romance in late September after first being
linked back in May, when they insisted they were just 'homies'.
As well as being a self-confessed
'sex addict' and notorious womanizer, Scott is a father-of-three,
raising three children, Mason, seven, Penelope, five, and Reign, two,
with ex-girlfriend of 10 years Kourtney Kardashian, 38.
Earlier
this week, Scott and Sofia were seen packing on the PDA during yet
another romantic break, this time to Puerto Vallarta in Mexico.
The model posted an Instagram
picture on Monday of herself cozying up to her boyfriend as they stood
on a stretch of sand near the beach with surfboards and palm trees
visible in the background.
Scott
shared a similar photo to his social media accounts with Sofia sitting
on his lap and the words 'Surf's up burh' emblazoned across the front.
During a May epsiode of Keeping
Up With The Kardashians, Scott admitted that he was addicted to sex
after bringing a woman back to his hotel room while on a family trip to
Costa Rica earlier that year.
'I'm
a sex addict. I'm a f**ked up, horrible sex addict,' Disick said at the
dinner table in front of Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Kris Jenner and her
boyfriend Corey Gamble.
Kourtney told her former lover, 'You had your chance.'
'I thought we were spending our whole lives together and I've done everything I can,' she declared.
Khloe
took the same stance as her sister over Scott's confession and she
threw a drink over him, as she slammed: 'If you need to get your d**k
wet that badly, then get your f**king d**k wet.'
