Presidency owes Shagari, Obasanjo, Jonathan, IBB, Gowon, Abdulsalami, Shonekan 10 months Salaries, allowances...

On Thursday,The Presidency revealed that in the last ten months, the Federal government has not paid the salaries and allowances of former President of the federal Republic of Nigeria. 


Continue to See the former Presidents affected by the non payment of salaries and allowances since January this year below;

  •  Alhaji Shehu Shagari,Shehu who is ninety-one years old, was President of Nigeria between 1979- 1983.
  •  Goodluck Jonathan;
  •  Former Military President, General Ibrahim Babangida, rtd;
  •  Olusegun Obasanjo;
  •  General Yakubu Gowon

  • General Abdulsalami Abubakar; 
  • Chief Ernest Shonekan.
These were revealed to the Senators Thursday when the Senate Committee on of Federal Character and Inter-Governmental Affairs, led by Senator Tijjani Kaura (APC, Zamfara North) visited the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF.
