Kogi state government has gone on the record to shut down the rumors making the rounds since weekend that the state governor, Yahaya Bello is dead.
The government in a statement by the Director General, Media and Publicity, Kingsley Fanwo said the governor was on a two weeks break outside the country which was approved by the state House of Assembly.
Word on the street alleged that,over the weekend the governor slumped at the Abuja International airport and was flown to Germany where he was said to have eventually died over the weekend.
