Lady Gaga splits with fiancé Taylor Kinney after five years together...

Lady Gaga and actor fiancé Taylor Kinney have split after dating for five years.

The 30-year-old singer and 35-year-old actor are said to have ended their relationship earlier this month, according to a Tuesday report from TMZ. 

Last week, Monitoring spirits spotted Lady Gaga without her engagement ring while she was out and about in Malibu. While on the other side of town on the same day,Taylor celebrated his birthday.

Word on the street revealed that the pressures of the pair's careers drove them apart, with both regularly traveling away from home.

Taylor filmed his hit TV show Chicago Fire on location for months at a time, while Gaga was often performing around the world. 

Earlier this year, Gaga arrived at her 30th birthday celebrations wearing a gold band on her ring finger, instead of her diamond engagement ring, fuelling speculation the couple may have secretly tied the knot.

Gaga and Taylor have two pet pooches together, French bulldogs Koji and Miss Asia Kinney, but it's not yet known who the canines will live with.

The talented pair began dating in July 2011 after meeting on set of her music video for You And I.

Taylor popped the question on Valentine's Day 2015, but neither he nor Gaga have ever publicly announced a wedding date.
