INEC official abducted in Bayelsa State...

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Bayelsa State has confirmed the abduction of ‎its staff at Otuasega town in Ogbia local government area of the state with the kidnappers demanding N20m ransom. 

The commission’s Head of Department, Voters Education/Publicity, Mr. Timidi Wariowei, identified the victim, as Davies Eldred, head of Head of Department, Gener‎al Administration and Procurement. Wariowei, who disclosed this Friday night in Yenagoa said the victim was ‎kidnapped on Tuesday at his Otuasega residence at about 8pm and whisked away to an unknown destination.
