EFCC operatives leave Fani-Kayode’s Abuja home...

On Friday evening,operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, who earlier visited the Abuja home of former spokesperson of Goodluck Jonathan’s Presidential Campaign Organization and erstwhile Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, left the place.

Word on the street revealed, that the operatives of the anti-graft agency decided to leave when journalists began to storm Fani-Kayode’s residence. 
In a text message that he sent to several media organisations,Femi Fani-Kayode disclosed to the general public that EFCC had invaded his home. 
Recall that the EFCC, earlier, sent a letter to Fani-Kayode’s residence, demanding his presence in their Abuja office by 10.00am on Monday, May 9, 2016, to explain his role in the presidential campaign funds of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) during the 2015 presidential elections. 
The letter was signed by Mr. Mohammed Umar Abba on behalf of the EFCC acting chairman, Mr. Ibrahim Magu.
Meanwhile, Fani-Kayode, in a letter through his lawyer, had assured the anti-graft agency that he would duly honour the invitation, even as he had several times insisted that he was not hiding from the EFCC.
