One month later, Senate President Bukola Saraki's, Special Assistant on Youth and Students Affairs, Mr Ikenga Ugochinyere, gets released from the custody of The Department of State Service,DSS. Ugochinyere,was released,Monday night.
Speaking at a press conference in Abuja on Tuesday, Mr Chinyere,narrated his detention experience to newsmen,alleged unfair treatment in the hands of the secret police.
He described his arrest and subsequent detention by the DSS as illegal,hinting that he has instructed his legal team to institute a N200 million suit against the DSS in court over what he called “illegal detention.”
He also alleged breach of his fundamental human rights and denial of access to his family and medical services by the federal government security agency.
