Stevie Wonder: Lawyer Used My Blindness to Cheat Me

Musician Stevie Wonder performs during a free pop-up concert, Aug. 17, 2015, in Philadelphia.
Stevie Wonder’s dead attorney and right-hand man for decades duped him into signing a contract he never saw … a contract that makes the singer pay the lawyer’s family indefinitely and forever …
Stevie Wonder says he trusted the wrong man when he signed a contract he couldn't see.
The singer is suing the estate of longtime lawyer Johanan Vigoda, saying that when he was 21, Vigoda had him sign a contract that gave the lawyer 6% of his royalties, TMZ reports. He says Vigoda took advantage of his blindness by including a clause that says the royalties would go on "forever," which he only found out about after Vigoda died in 2011 and royalties kept going to his family. He says he was taken advantage of and wants a judge to cancel the clause, TMZ reports. He stopped the payments in 2013 when he found out about the clause, and Vigoda's widow has filed her own lawsuit seeking $7 million she says she's owed.

Atleast we all know where the Lawyer is now.
