Saudi
Arabia has deployed 100,000 security personnel to oversee the annual
Islamic Hajj pilgrimage - underscoring the multitude of threats one of
the largest pilgrimages in the world faces.
Roughly
3million people from around the world are expected to converge on
Tuesday at the Kaaba, in Mina and other nearby areas for the Hajj, which
lasts about five days.
It
is series of rituals meant to cleanse the soul of sins and instill a
sense of equality and brotherhood. All able-bodied Muslims are required
to perform the hajj once in their lives.
Fun Fact: Muslims are so committed to this their religion. See this crowd? It's Like this every year and the size increases as the years go by. But still they travel from all parts of the world to attend. I admire that about them. Even their daily prayers. No matter where they are or what they are doing once it's time for prayers they leave everything they are doing and pray. Atleast from what I've seen. And also witnessed.
But ehn! What if they are getting frisky (wink wink) and it's time for prayers. Do they you know? Jump up and Pray or they press the snooze button?
I'm asking for a friend...
PS: Who ask question no loss!...! :D
