People Living With Down Syndrome- Article Written by Me

So I was watching one of my favorite TV Series 'Switched at Birth' this afternoon.
As the title of the TV series goes the TV series is about two girls that were Switched at Birth and lived different lives in the same state but never crossed paths.

One of the girl's grew up in a rich home and the other girl lived with her not so rich single mom. For so many years until this one time in school when a teacher was talking about Geneology. Stuffs like there is always something about the physical appearance or features of a parent that their kid takes from then and that was how the story changed. Now the girl that grew up in a rich home started a harmless research and did some experiment and got to find out that her mom wasn't really her mom. After she told the parents. They hired a personal investigator (P.I.) and the P.I. found their actual daughter. In a bid to get to know her better they discovered that their long lost daughter that they didn't know existed was deaf. She had meningitis when she was little and the mom that she  grew up with couldn't afford the operation. They moved in together and started to get to know each other better.

Since the long lost daughter was deaf the entire family had to learn sign language just so they'll be able to communicate with her. What I'm I trying to say? Abnormal, Deaf People or even anybody with any diability is still human and God created us all. When I watch movies like this it makes me thank God and Love him even more. As I watch this TV series all I see is love. So much love in a family that nothing can shake. I think we should learn to be nice and good. Humans might not notice but for what it's worth you'll feel fulfilled.
On this week's episode of switched at birth:
The Toby who is brother of the girls that was switched at birth' had this girlfriend who found out she was pregnant and after she went for a test she discovered that the unborn kid had Down syndrome. They had just 2 options to choose from get rid of the pregnancy or have it. Either way it'll be difficult.  Although the girl wanted to have the baby she couldn't make that decision alone. As for me when I was watching i was campaigning for them to get rid of the pregnancy but as the episode progressed i had a change of heart.
Let's not get it twisted. People living with Down syndrome have a lot of challenges. They are forever dependent of their family. It's quite difficult. But i don't think anybody has the right to play the role of God by taking that kid away before he/she gets the chance come into this world. The sooner we accept the fact that everything happens for a reason? The happier we will all be.
That been said...
People living with Down syndrome are still people just like us. We were created by the same God.
There are many challenges when it comes to raising a kid with Down syndrome. Google it. I mean?! So most people that find out that they are pregnant with a Down syndrome baby give their self just 1 option. Forgetting that it's not their call.

I don't think we have any school in Nigeria for Kids living with Down syndrome maybe because nobody has thought of it. But as individuals let's make it a goal to be nice to this people living with this ailment. Wherever you see them be nice to them.

Bless them...  People living with Down syndrome are people. Just like you and me.

Meanwhile, I have a question to ask...

Ladies,If you find out that your pregnant with a baby with 'Down Syndrome' will you get rid of the pregnancy?
Guys? Will you ask your wife to get rid of the pregnancy if the baby has Down syndrome???

Let's get the conversation going in the comments section below... Let me know what you think...
