Former Secretary to Government of the Federation (SGP) Olu Falae that was kidnapped last week by herdsmen has revealed that a ransom was paid before the abductors freed him...

He said that thee kidnappers only released him after they confirmed that a payment was actually said,He also said that he trekked for 15 kilometers before he was picked up by the police in Owo, several kilometers from Akure, the Ondo State capital.

The disclosure contradicts the claim by the Nigerian police that no ransom was paid before his release.
