Armed man plotted to kidnap Obama family dog...

A heavily armed man claiming to be Jesus allegedly plotted to kidnap one of the Obama family's dogs and has been arrested, US media and officials said.

James Abiodun Faleke(Deputy governorship flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress in Kogi) and Mr. Mohammed Audu ( the eldest son of Abubakar Audu, the late APC governorship candidate) were invited by operatives of the Directorate of State Security in Abuja, today Saturday Jan. 9th for undisclosed reason, and then detained.

Wole Soyinka replies Rivers govt...

Nobel laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka has described as the statement by the Rivers State Commissioner for Information, Dr Austin Tam-George, that the state would demand refund from him (Soyinka) if he collected cash from the N82 million allegedly spent by immediate-past Governor, Rotimi Amaechi on a dinner to honour him as ‘abominable distractions,’

Soyinka,has said that the allegation has made him saddened and ‘truly despair”, he added that he was indifferent to it.

Ambode also approved the appointment of nine others to serve as members of the Board of Trustees of the ETF, which is geared towards addressing the challenge of youth unemployment as well as promote wealth creation through entrepreneurial development in the state.

Head of Protocol of the Nigerian Football Federation, Ibrahim Abubakar, was shot dead in the wee hours of Wednesday,by armed robbers in his house in Abuja.

IGP Arase bans officers from illegally accessing mobile phones...

Solomon Arase,The Inspector-General of Police, IGP has warned police officers who are in the habit of indiscriminate checking of personal information on mobile phones of members of the public to stop such practices with immediate effect.

In a Police Circular titled: “REPORTS OF ALLEGED INDISCRIMINATE ACCESSING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION ON MOBILE PHONES BY POLICE PATROL TEAMS” dated 31st December, 2015, signed by the Force Secretary, AIG Patrick D. Dukumor and dispatched to all police state commands and formations nationwide on Monday 4th January, 2016, Arase directed that severe disciplinary actions would also be taken against any officer (s) and their Supervisors (DPOs, Area Commanders and Sectional Heads) against whom a proven report of illegal mobile phone checks not supported by appropriate court orders or operational exigency is made.

Director of Radio Biafra and leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu's Wife Uchechi reportedly gave birth to a baby boy on Tuesday.

The birth of Kanu’s child was announced in a message posted on the Facebook page of Radio Biafra London.

The statement read: “Good morning great Biafrans. With joy in our hearts and celebration of new arrival to IPOB family, our first lady, the wife of our eminent leader, Joshua Nnamdi Kanu, has delivered a healthy baby boy. Mother and child are in good health.”

According to this open letter I found on LIB, the baby mama sophy is a full time Junkie, after she gave birth she started to binge on Alcohol, Marijuana and so much more. She started to over do the I'm Davido's baby mama thing, this one time she went to a club and accumulated a bill of 250,000 naira and asked the club people to call Davido to pay. That's not all. The so called Uncle Dele that's playing martyr now has been MIA(missing in action) all through her knocked up days. In the letter the writer clearly stated that baby Imade was very healthy when she arrived in May of 2015. And only fell ill when she digested bad alcohol infected milk from her Ma. They even provided Doctor's report.It's a long one, so you might need to take several seats grab your pop-corn so you don't get bored.

Sunday Oliseh has been away for sometime now receiving treatment.

Yippee. Manchester United won their game against Swansea today, 2-1. Rooney scored the 2 goals for us and Gylfi Sigurdsson scored Swansea's goal.

Although this puts us in 5th place on the Premier League Table. Just two points behind Totetenham.

This is Manchester United's first win in 8 games.

I Hope this is the start of their winning streak for the season.

The Governorship Election Appeal Tribunal sitting in Owerri, Imo State, has nullified the election Governor Okozie Ikpeazu of Abia State. And declared Dr Alex Oti as the winner.

So let's Press rewind to last month, the Tribunal declared Gov. Ikpeazu as the winner of the Guber Election in Abia state and as a result of the judgement His opponent Dr Alex Oti filed an appeal, asking the appeal court to reverse the Verdict passed by the Tribunal and he has won. When i read this news I had to ask someone and she said that Gov. Ikpeazu will drag Dr. Alex Oti to the Supreme Court. Don't they get tired?

And as we all know the Supreme Court is the last bus stop. So my question is, What if Gov. Ikpeazu doesn't win the Supreme Court case? Will he drag Dr Oti to Amadioha? Or to Igwe? So they can toss a coin or something?

I guess this is what change truly means...

Nobody wants to drop it and leave it alone. And try next time.

Happy New year once again. I'm super excited for 2016 it feels like it's gon be super packed with all the best for me and my Family.

Anyways, you know that I'm a very serious student and when I'm not you know? In school doing serious student things I'm home downloading all the TV series. And it's been a very boring holiday for me because all my fav TV series had gone on Winter Break. Some couldn't even wait for snow to actually start falling before they shut down for winter. I mean is winter not like when it snows? Or is it just when it's very cold?

The Headies 2016 will take place today Jan. 1st 2016,at the Landmark Events Centre,Victoria Island,Lagos
and see the list of nominees for the 10th Headies Awards, 2015 after the jump break. Meanwhile, the event was supposed to happen on the 30th of December 2016 but was rescheduled.
The list has 21 categories where Nigeria's finest entertainers compete for the prestigious award.
