Court sacks Pinnick, orders recognition of Giwa as NFF President ...
A Federal High Court sitting in Jos, on Friday ordered the recognition of Chris Giwa as the President of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF).
Justice Musa Kurya who gave the order, also barred anybody from interfering with the duties and functions of the NFF board under the leadership of Chris Giwa.

The experienced Dutch coach, 69, succeeds Jose Mourinho, who was sacked on Thursday, and returns to a role he previously performed in 2009, when he led Chelsea to glory in the FA Cup.

Nigeria wins U-23 trophy...
Nigeria U-23 defeated Algeria 2-1 for the 2015 U23 AFCON crown at the Leopold Sedar Senghor in Dakar.

Ivory Coast midfielder Yaya Toure, has been voted the BBC African Footballer of the Year 2015.
He claimed the prize ahead of Andre Ayew, Yacine Brahimi, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Sadio Mane.
Toure becomes the third player, after Nwankwo Kanu and Jay-Jay Okocha, to receive the award twice.

Nigeria's Dream Team escapes plane crash in Accra,Ghana...
Nigeria's U-23 team escaped plane crash while travelling to Gambia on Sunday morning as part of preparations for the African U-23 Championship billed for Senegal.
The Dream Team VI had opted for the West African country after the initial trip to Morocco was cancelled due to visa issues, Goal reports.
A senior official of the team said the pilot of the Arik Aircraft made an emergency landing in Accra, Ghana, due to technical problems.
“Thank God for his goodness and his mercies that we escaped a plane crash on our way to Gambia. The pilot had to make an emergency landing in Accra and we are still in Accra,” the official told Goal.
“We are still stranded here and we are yet to get any news from Arik officials.”
