The Independent National Electoral Commission scheduled the rerun elections in Rivers State for February 6, 2016 .
Gesila Khan,The outgoing Resident Electoral Commissioner of the state,disclosed this while speaking with leaders of political parties in Port Harcourt on Thursday.
Meanwhile Khan,that was transferred to Delta state today(January 28th) explained that election would be held for 22 House of Assembly seats, 12 House of Representatives seats and three senatorial seats.and that the date fixed for the rerun elections was still tentative.
