‘Paraga’ sellers close shop in Lagos, as drunk slumps and actually dies.

For those of you who don't know. 'Paraga is the Botanic name for Illicit Gin'...Aka 'Kai kai', aka 'Agba' (lol) Don't mind me oh.
Meanwhile,The corpse of an unidentified man was discovered on Monday,at Alaba, along the Lagos-Badagry Express-way. The 'John Doe', said to have been staggering home after leaving a drinking joint where local illicit gin, popularly called paraga, is sold, reportedly fell and hit his head on the pavement. An eyewitness said the dying man made attempts to call for help by repeatedly lifting his right hand, but that no one made any effort to assist him. The incident, according to another eyewitness, created panic as local gin vendors hurriedly closed for the day for fear of being arrested in connection with the tragedy. Report said when police-men from Orile Division arrived the scene, the man was confirmed dead.

So why didn't the eyewitness help him? You saw a man making an attempt to call for help? Nigeria sha! I don't blame them.  Truth be told, even you reading this won't help the guy. With amount of scam people roaming the streets, and all the horror films we've watched? Alot of us wont help a dying man for fear that he might be faking it...
