terrorists attacked a community in Borno , killing at least 29 persons.Sunday Waba,The Chairman of Mussa Youth Association in
Maiduguri, the Borno State capital, the insurgents had launched the
attack on the village while fleeing from a nearby area.
They shot sporadically at people in the village in Askira-Uba Local Government Area of the state.
The insurgents have killed 29 people and burnt down about 200 houses.The attackers arrived the community at about 1pm and left at about 3pm.
A member of the youth vigilante group, Suleiman Idris, who confirmed the incident, said some of the assailants were in vehicles.
Boko Haram has intensified attacks on
communities in the troubled North-East state in the last few days,
killing over 150 people.
