Diezani Alison-Madueke granted bail in UK

Former Petroleum Minister Diezani Alison Madueke has been granted bail.After being detained for several hours.
Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke, was arrested in London, Friday 2nd October,She (Diezani)was actually arrested in London, on Friday, by the International Corruption Unit (ICU) of the country’s National Crimes Agency.

There was a Multiple bomb blasts by suspected Boko Haram terrorists in Abuja, Nigerian with two explosions recorded in Kuje, a suburb of the city.

The first occurred in front of the police station, while the second occurred at the town’s main market, 15 minutes apart from other.
A third explosion was reported at Nyanya Bus Station thereafter. Nyanya was the scene of two bombings in 2014, leading to scores of death.

Muslim family are driven from their home... after they converted to Christianity...

An Asian family who converted to Christianity claim that for the second time they have been driven from their home by by Muslim persecutors.

Nissar Hussain, his wife Kubra and their six children said they have suffered an appalling ordeal at the hands of neighbours who regard them as blasphemers.

Apparently four more witnesses for Gov. Nyesom Wike of Rivers, confirmed on Thursday to the State Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja that the April 11 governorship election was peaceful
The witnesses, who were from different local government areas of the state, also declared that there were no cases of multiple thumb printing and ballot snatching in their respective polling units.
The witnesses added that they were duly accredited by their polling unit officials and also waited for their votes to be counted before they left the venue.

Hajj tragedy: 64 Nigerians dead, 240 missing

The National Hajj Commission, has confirmed that of Nigerian casualties at the September 24 Kuna stampede has risen to 64.
Similarly, as many as, 240 Nigerian pilgrims were still missing.
Mr Uba Mana, the Public Relations Officer, of the Commission, disclosed that the injured were receiving the prompt medical attention.

According to him, a report containing the identities of the victims is on its way to Abuja, in line with the directive from the Presidency to the National Hajj Commission.
He said, ” as soon as our medical team finish treating the injured, we will soon start Airlifting them back to Nigeria.

The Nigerian Army Disclosed on Friday that about 200 suspected Boko Haram insurgents have "raised up the white flag" in other words surrendered. They actually surrendered after the military overran their territories along Bama-Banki axis of Borno.

Blye had been released from prison less than 24 hours earlier after serving a 28-day sentence for breaching a Domestic Violence Prevention Order following eight incidents in the past year.

So so Sad! The lady in the picture is Hajia Bilikisu Yusuf until her was a journalist she's one of the victims that died in the stampede that claimed 717 lives in Saudi Arabia yesterday September 24th. So so sad! May her soul rest in peace Amen.

HID’s death forced me out of my ‘hiding place’ – Jonathan

Former President of Nigeria ,Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and his wife has paid a condolence visit to The Awolowo Family, while speaking to newsmen he actually disclosed that 'death has forced him and his wife out of their hiding place'. Apparently he had plans to stay on full hibernation mode for at least a year.

Hajj: 2 more pilgrims die

THE death toll of Nigeria pilgrims taking part in this year’s Hajj exercise in Saudi Arabia has increased to 22 as two more pilgrims from Bauchi State have died in the Holy Land.
Addressing newsmen in Makkah on Monday, Executive Secretary of Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Isiyaku Suleman, disclosed that the dead, a man and a woman, died as a result of malaria and asthma attack.
Suleman said the man died in Medina, while the woman died in Makkah.
He added that the deceased were from Ningi and Toro Local Government Areas of the state respectively.

Army authorities disclosed, Wednesday that the Special Forces prosecuting the war on terror have arrested a Boko Haram Commander, one Bulama Modu, long wanted by security agencies even as another 241 hostages particularly women and children were rescued after an operation.
