The House of Representatives Speaker Yakubu Dogara promised that as soon as the 2016 Budget is signed into Law, that Nigerians will begin to reap the dividends of promises made by the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Sen. Dogara urged Nigerians to be patient with the APC-led government to fulfill its campaign promises.
He said the last six months could not be used to judge the performance of President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration, saying the administration inherited empty treasury and a battered nation.
The Speaker stated that Buhari was facing enormous challenges but determined to surmount them.
Dogara said that Nigerians should criticize the government if after the passage of the 2016 budget it failed to deliver.
