The artist, whose real name was Albert Johnson, was hospitalized several days ago in Las Vegas due to complications from sickle cell anemia.
The rapper had been removed from a Las Vegas meet-and-greet with fans Saturday night after appearing weak, according to TMZ. The high temperatures in the desert likely made his sickle cell worse.
