Lil' Kim is reportedly being investigated by the LAPD as a person of interest connected to a robbery over the weekend.
Lil Kim rented a property to throw a BET Awards bash and she didn't like the place.
A law enforcement source tells TMZ,that
in the early hours of Sunday Lil Kim went with her crew to check out the place,but didn't like it, and demanded
their money back.
An argument erupted after the owner or property manager refused to give Kim and her people the money and cops were called.
When cops arrived they told the group that it was a civil matter and couldn't help so left, as did Kim and her entourage.
Then, TMZ reports, at sometime around 4am, a group of armed people arrived to the property wearing ski masks.
They took Kim's deposit check and cash, totaling at least $20,000.
Law enforcement told the website that the robbers also slashed tyres and stole a hubcap before they left.
The LAPD has launched a robbery investigation.
