The world's oldest newlyweds prove you're never too old to fall in love

 oldest newlyweds
A British couple with a combined aged of 194 will be getting married in the summer - making them the oldest newlyweds in the world.

George Kirby, who will be 103 when they tie the knot in June, and his bride-to-be Doreen Luckie, 91, got engaged on Valentine’s Day this year after being together for 27 years.

"I suppose it’s about time, really. I definitely don’t feel my age. Doreen keeps me young.

I didn’t get down on one knee, because I don’t think I would have been able to get back up."

George, who had just been divorced at the time, met Doreen all the way back in 1988, three years after she became a widow, through an organisation that helped mature people find friends, according to the Daily Mail. The pair will get married at the Langham Hotel in Eastbourne, which is owned by George’s son Neil who will also be the best man.

"We’re thrilled that they are going to get married in front of all their proud friends and family.

Also, it’s about time my dad has finally made an honest woman out of her."

And here you are saying you can't get married when your old and gray. No you can't!  Atleast not on the part of town... (NIGERIA)
