Shania Twain announces final tour

Shania Twain has announced her final tour. The star, whose 1997 album Come On Over remains the best-selling country album ever, will play 48 dates across the US and Canada, kicking off in June.

A passenger airliner has skidded off the runway at LaGuardia airport in New York City amid snowy conditions.

Emergency officials were called to the airport at about 11:00 local time (16:00 GMT) but no injuries have been reported.
