Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State on Wednesday,explained why he was present at the trial of Mr Nnamdi Kanu,the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, in Abuja on Tuesday.
According to him,it was as a result of his belief in ensuring justice for all, irrespective of where one hails from.
Gov. Fayose, who made the statement Wednesday in an interview on national television in Abuja, promised to also attend the trials of former National Security Adviser, Colonel Sambo Dasuki (retd), and the leader of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Idowu Adelusi, the governor said he would never support a situation whereby court orders, rulings and judgments are disregarded by the government.
