Unclaimed $45M: Gov. Wike insists the cash belongs to Amaechi...

The Governor of Rivers State,Barr. Nyesom Wike still insists that the $43 million that was found in an appartment in Ikoyi,Lagos state belongs to former Gov. of  Rivers State Rotimi Amaechi.

Wike had earlier alleged that Amaechi stole the money from the state account during his tenure as governor of Rivers State and called on the Federal Government to return the money back to the state.
Speaking at an Easter Service at Saint Peter's Anglican Church in Rumueprikom on Monday,He said that the responsibility of the church is to pray that rGod touches the heart of the Federal Government release the money to Rivers State.
Gov. Wike went on to state that contrary to Amaechi's claims,he(wike) is yet to declare war on the Federal Government but that Rivers State Government was simply requesting the return of said funds belonging to the state.
He alleged that 70 and 80percent of the APC's campaign in 2015 was sponsored using funds sourced by Rivers State Government under the leadership of Rotimi Amaechi.
Wike wondered why the security intelligence works on opponents of the Federal Government, but when corruption issues like the Ikoyi case where Billions of Dollars belonging to Rivers State have been found, the war on corruption is suspended.
