The Eri Festival which is known as OLILI OBIBIA ERI is a yearly event always in the Month of November to Commemorate the time and arrival of Eri, the Progenitor of the Igbo race.

This year's celebration started on Friday the 13th of November and ended on the 15th November, 2015.

The 14th of November, was the Coronation of the New Chiefs of the Ezeora Cabinet. The Current Miss Tourism Nigeria along side One of Nigeria's Finest Nollywood Actor Bob Manuel Ndokwu ...

 

The It was glitz and glamour on 14^th November 2015 as Queen Ifeoma Sharon Anya (Miss Tourism Nigeria World 2015/2016) added a cap to her crown in Umuezeora Enugwu Aguleri, Anambra state at the annual Eri Festival to commemorate the time and arrival of Eri, (the Progenitor of the Igbo race at Ime Obu-Gad Palace) as she was crowned Chief. His Royal Highness, His Majesty Eze Chukwuemeka Eri (JP) Eze Eri, Ezeora 34^th and Eze Aka Ji Ovo Igbo was all smiles as he decorated 9 new chiefs.

He had earlier taken the guests down memory lane, and ensuring everyone understood the Igbo heritage, Ifeoma intimated him with her pet project which is to revive and rebrand the history of the igbo race which starts from aguleri (Obu-Gad) the King was so pleased with her and decided to award her with a chieftancy title as the "ADA EJI EJE MBA 1 OF ENUGWU AGULERI, Anambra State. Meaning a Woman Of Substance. For a beauty queen to come up with reviving her tradition is a great thing. Amongst the chiefs were veteran actor Bob Manual Udokwu and Miss Tourism Nigeria World, Queen Ifeoma Sharon Anya who took on the extra lifelong responsibility with great strides and pride. Congratulations to His Majesty Eze Chukwuemeka Eri (JP) and all the newly appointed chiefs.
