Alhaji Ali Manu, the Executive Secretary of the State Agency for Nomadic Education disclosed this in Dutse on Wednesday while speaking with newsmen.
Manu said the items included 8, 000 sets of school uniforms, 8, 000 school sandals and 8, 000 pieces of school bags.
The executive secretary, who commended the government for the gesture, stated that the items would be distributed to the nomadic pupils free of charge.
According to him, the policy is part of government’s efforts to improve pupils’ enrolment, attendance and retention in nomadic schools.
