Boko Haram: INEC postpones elections indefinitely in 18 Yobe units #NigeriaDecides

The Resident Electoral Commissioner in Yobe, Habu Zarma, on Sunday said the electoral commission, INEC, had postponed elections indefinitely in 18 polling units in Giedam Local Government Area of the state due to security challenges.

Ogun INEC Yet To Take Delivery Of 153,000 PVCs

Few days to the general elections, the Ogun State Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says it is yet to take delivery of about 153,000 Permanent Voter Cards belonging to residents of the state.

Police Issue Restriction Of Movement Order

The Inspector-General Of Police, Suleiman Abba, has ordered the restriction on vehicular movements from 8a.m to 6p.m on election days.
A statement signed by the Force Public Relations Officer, Emmanuel Ojukwu, says persons on essential duties, ambulances and fire service trucks are, however, exempted from the restriction of movement order.
