Woman crush Wednesday is an opportunity for people to talk about or give a shout out to someone they love and admire.
That been said the first woman crush Wednesday I will be featuring on the blog today is the gorgeous Rihanna! Shocked? Don't be. For as long as I can remember I've loved this lady. From when she released her first album "music of the sun " that included hit songs like "pon the replay" "thug in my life" etc till today i still can get enough of her. She has often said she's nobody's role model cos of her way of life and style. She is 1 of the lady that I admire and love. I love her personality, her charisma and how hard working she is. A lot of people don't like her because all they see is her bad girl attitude but when u really study her and her way of life u will love her. U will see that even if she's all bad galriri on the outside she's actually a good person on the inside. And y'all know I'm a sucker for nice people. I choose to focus on her achievements and not how she behaves in public. She has a make up line with Mac cosmetics Riri hearts Mac, she has her personal perfume line, she has graced the cover of so many high end magazines these are the things I admire about her She's such a diva and she works very hard. Find below a brief history of Rihanna...
Robyn Rihanna Fenty was born in a parish in Barbados called St. Michael, to Monica (Braithwaite), an accountant, and Ronald Fenty, a warehouse supervisor. Her mother is of Afro-Guyanese descent and her father has Afro-Barbadian and English/Irish/Scottish ancestry (known as "Redlegs" in the Caribbean). Rihanna lived the life of a normal island girl going to Combermere, a top sixth form school. Rihanna won numerous beauty pageants and performed Mariah Carey "Hero" in a school talent show. Her life changed forever when one of her friends introduced her to Evan Rodgers, a producer from New York who was in Barbados for a vacation with his wife, who is a native. Rodgers arranged for her to go to New York to meet Jay Z, CEO of Def Jam Records. He heard her sing and knew she was going to be incredibly successful. She was 16 when she was signed to Def Jam. Since then, she's amassed phenomenal success.
Her ability to work hard and play hard is what I love the most about her. The fact that she loves to live her life to the fullest and doesn't pretend is one of the million reasons I heart her so much and that's why Rihanna is my wcw for today.
Talk soon xoxo
