President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday said he has sent a letter to the National Assembly as a notification to the federal lawmakers of his 10-day vacation starting today.
President Buhari made this known while speaking to journalists at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja, shortly before he left for London where he is expected to attend to his ill-health.
With the letter to the National Assembly, Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo is expected to run the country as President for the period Buhari would be away.
